JMIJ Type Diaphragm Coupling with Intermediate Axis

Before installation of JMIJ type diaphragm coupling with intermediate shaft, it is necessary to check the concentricity of the prime mover and the two axes of the working machine, whether the surface of the two axes is packaged with paper and bruises, whether there are impurities in the inner holes of the two half-coupling joints of the coupling, and whether the edges of the inner holes are bruised or not.

  Installation and operation instructions of JMIJ type diaphragm coupling with intermediate shaft

  1. Before installation, check whether the two axes of the prime mover and the working machine are concentric, whether there are wrapping paper and bumps on the surface of the two axes, whether there are impurities in the inner holes of the two half-coupling joints of the coupling, whether there are bumps in the edges of the inner holes, if there are any, clean the axles and half-coupling joints, and handle the bumps with fine files. Then check whether the diameter and length of the inner holes of the two semi-coupling are in accordance with the size of the prime mover, the diameter of the working machine and the extension length of the shaft. In general selection, it is better to make the length of the prime mover and the half coupling of the end of the machine less than 10-30 mm of the extension length of the shaft.

  2. In order to facilitate installation, it is better to preheat the two semi-coupling joints in the 120-150 heat preservation tank or oil tank, so as to make the inner hole size increase and easy to install. After installation, ensure that the axle head can not protrude the end face of the semi-coupling joint, in order to be even. Measure the distance between the two half couplings: take the average reading of 3-4 points along the inner flange of the half couplings, and the sum of the measured dimensions of the lengthened segment and the two diaphragm groups. The error between the two is within the range of 0-0.4mm.

  3. Alignment: Use percentile meter to detect the end face and outer circle runout of two-half coupling flange. When the outer circle of flange is less than 250mm, the runout value should be no more than 0.05 mm; when the outer circle of flange is greater than 250mm, the runout value should be no more than 0.08.
