GCLD Type Drum Tooth Coupling

GCLD drum gear coupling consists of a half coupling with drum teeth, a jacket with connection method and inner gear ring, a bearing ring with outer spherical surface, an end cover and a sealing ring.

  GCLD drum gear coupling consists of a half coupling with drum teeth, a jacket with connection method and inner gear ring, a bearing ring with outer spherical surface, an end cover and a sealing ring. Compared with other coupling used in drum, it has the characteristics of stable operation, strong radial load and large torque transmission, compact and firm structure, serialized design, simplifying the whole machine structure, reducing equipment weight, good alignment performance, convenient installation and adjustment, etc.

  GCLD drum gear coupling is mainly used to connect the output shaft of the reducer of lifting mechanism with the steel wire rope drum in lifting equipment. It is also suitable for other similar mechanical equipment which can transmit both torque and radial load, but it can not be used as transmission that needs to bear axial load.

  GCLD (G II CLD) drum gear coupling belongs to rigid flexible coupling. The gear coupling is composed of inner ring with the same number of teeth and flange half coupling with outer teeth. The outer teeth are divided into straight teeth and drum teeth. The so-called drum teeth are spherical. The center of the spherical surface is on the axis of the gear. The backlash of the teeth is larger than that of the general gear. The drum teeth coupling can allow larger angular displacement (relative to the straight teeth coupling). It can improve the contact conditions of the teeth, improve the ability of transmitting torque and prolong the service life. It has the ability to compensate the deviation of radial, axial and angular equiaxes. It has the advantages of compact structure, small turning radius, large bearing capacity, high transmission efficiency, low noise and long maintenance period. It is especially suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty working conditions, such as metallurgy, mining, hoisting and transportation industries, and also for shafting transmission of various kinds of machinery such as petroleum, chemical industry, general machinery and so on.

  2. Shaft hole diameter with * number should not be selected in the new design.

 

  3. The diameter of bracket inner shaft hole is suitable for Z1 type shaft hole.
