Elastic coupling

Elastic coupling is usually made by wire cutting of metal rods. The commonly used materials are aluminium alloy, stainless steel and engineering plastics. Elastic couplings use parallel or spiral grooving systems to accommodate various deviations and accurately transmit torque.

  Elastic coupling is usually made by wire cutting of metal rods. The commonly used materials are aluminium alloy, stainless steel and engineering plastics. Elastic couplings use parallel or spiral grooving systems to accommodate various deviations and accurately transmit torque. Elastic coupling usually has good performance and price advantages. In many practical applications of stepping and servo systems, elastic coupling is the preferred product. The design of one-in-one forming makes the elastic coupling realize the advantages of zero-gap transmission of torque and maintenance-free. There are two basic series of elastic coupling: spiral groove type and parallel groove type.

  Elastic coupling features:

  (1) Metal elastomer formed in one body;

  (2) Zero rotary clearance and synchronous operation;

  (3) Elastic action compensates radial, angular and axial deviations.

  (4) High torque rigidity and excellent sensitivity;

  (5) The characteristics of clockwise and counterclockwise rotation are identical.

  (6) Maintenance-free, oil-resistant and corrosion-resistant;

  (7) Aluminum alloy and stainless steel for selection;

  (8) There are two main fixing methods: top wire and clamping.
